Career Workshop – Kalasiguda govt School by SAHAYA-SVIT

The first go, a bit haphazard, and a bit confused in Government Boys School-Kalasiguda. To begin with and cook up a conversation,
we asked a student to sing for us and for everyone. We pepped up their mood with our interaction and we realized that it was crowded and noisy.
The students were immediately divided into groups as per their classes. We volunteers were seriously delighted to see those young enthusiastic faces.

Students were segregated into groups with volunteers. We the volunteers asked the students to put their ambitions and passions in words. We collected information about their goals and ambitions, enquired about their idea on how to achieve their desire.

The volunteers showed the students in their corresponding group the CAREER PATH charts and gave them a preliminary guidance and an idea about “What Next?” and how to “DREAM BIG” and make themselves count.

The response from the students has been emphatic. It was nice to know that most of the students had an idea about future prospects; they wanted to become doctors and engineers. It was even more thrilling to know that most of the students were interested to get into the police department or into the Indian Army to serve people.

, On the whole, the program was a new experience for all the volunteers. We think and also hope that the “SPARK and ENTHUSIASM” we had seen in the students will remain and fulfill their “NICE and BIG DREAMS”. And hopefully, our guidance will help them in their future run.

Yuva Varadhi’s Anti Corruption Walk

20th August shall always remain fresh in the pages of Yuva Varadhi that had seen the dynamic oceanic flow of the youth to vent their frustration and anger over the plaguing disease of corruption.

We had not just good but great number of youth actively participating in the walk contributing their share for the huge fight for a grave concern!

We had Prof.Nageshwar Rao sir who addressed the gathering at Indira Park and spoke about how at our personal level corruption can be fought.
